I guess because of the wonderful warm colors that appear everywhere.

I used Flower Soft for the leaves on these trees. It really gives them a great fall look. The image was stamped with Stampin' UP! Chocolate Chip ink and cut out with Nestabilites Curved Rectangles. I sponged Stampin' UP! Creamy Caramel ink around the edges before removing the Nestabilities die.The cardstock is all from Stampin' UP! and is Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie and Creamy Caramel. The Creamy Caramel layer has been stamped with Impression Obsession Cover A Card background stamp called Thin Lines.

These new background stamps are the best for covering an A2 card with one stamp. They are 5.75 x 5.75 in size. The new Mega Mount from Impression Obsession is the best way to stamp these backgrounds. The Mega Mount is a 6x6 acrylic block that is slightly curved making the background stamp easier to stamp. The Mega Mount also has a handle.

Wedding Card

I thought this would make a nice wedding card since this is that time of the year. Fall-Winter 2008 catalog that they created with these stamps, Inspired By Nature. However I wanted a fall look using this same set, so here is what I came up with. I used off-white cardstock for the background. Sponged Creamy Caramel to tone it down a bit. Then with Chocolate Chip, I stamped the background using Weathered. Going Gray was used to create the shadow which I stamped first. Then using Versamark, I stamped the image just slightly off of the shadowed image. Copper embossing powder was used on the Versamark image. I know it is hard to tell from the picture, but the copper really adds a nice touch.

For all of the layers, I used Really Rust and Chocolate Chip.

A Rose is a Rose

This new designer paper from Stampin Up has got to be one of my favorites.
